About the author

Jack W. Favorite was born October 4, 1942 in his Grandmother's home in Frederick, Maryland As a child of 4, Jack 's family left their 20 acre farm and moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida. Raised as a carpenter's helper under his Dad's tutelage He learned carpentry, house painting and good old common sense as he continued to grow. Enlisted in the Air Force three times, he was finally drafted by the army immediately following major surgery What a SNAFU this turned into. Mr. Favorite served proudly for 28 years on the local fire dept. in many different positions. He left the Fire Dept, for 8 years and spent 5 of those years testing boats and motors for Chrysler Outboard Corp. Only ~rw111 you read how it feels to jump a ski boat 8 feet out of the water and sail right over a nude lady sun tanning on the after deck of a fifty foot yacht;.and be in mortal fear of landing on her with that screaming propeller when the wind shifted! Jack is now retired due to several medical conditions, and still lives in the St. Lucie County area.
