About this ebook

A love of a lifetime . . .

Leaving Belmont Clarkson is the hardest thing Sage Alexander has ever done. From the moment they met, she knew Belmont was the one, and getting up close and personal with him on his family's epic road trip has taken her desire to a new, even hotter level. But there's no way she can go there---not without revealing secrets that could devastate them both.

Losing Sage is not an option. Belmont's heart is hers, has always been hers. He knows she's hiding something from him, but nothing will stand in his way of telling her just how much she means to him. Finding her is easy---saving her from her past could cost him everything.

LOVED this book! Wow, just, wow... This novel opens with just Sage and Belmont in the car, as Sage prepares to leave him without him knowing why or where she's going. She's running from him to face her past - a past that is very ugly and makes her ashamed. Belmont finds Sage and fights to rescue her from her fate. Through all of this, the undercurrent of their relationship percolates. They have an intense attraction to each other, but have never acted on it. Add in the fact that Sage refuses to emulate her parents relationship and she would rather push Belmont away than do that, and you have all the ingredients for an intense romance. This novel is an emotional roller coaster that had me turning pages just as quickly as possible - it went from incredible highs to incredible lows, then did it again and again. Wow, if I smoked it might be time for a cigarette.... This might be the best Clarkson story yet. If you only read one Clarkson novel, it should be this one. While their road trip ends, I hope the characters will show up in future books and I really hope to learn Libby's story. This is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is a master of her craft and is on my must read authors' list.

Reading Too Beautiful to Break, is like standing in the eye of a hurricane. The storm clouds alert to danger, but the thrill of the unknown outweighs the fear of what's to come. Belmont and Sage are a cocktail of danger from their co - dependent relationship, to their individual demons. Underneath the calm lies precarious revelations that could prove lethal to a friendship that goes beyond the boundaries of the norm. At times I felt like a voyeur as I traversed the carnage of this disturbingly complicated duet of hearts, but once you step into the maze there's no turning back. Your heart won't allow you to walk away.

About the author

Tessa Bailey is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after her high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans, and laptop, and drove cross-country to New York City in under four days. Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend, and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband and daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.
