This is book 4 in the Mavericks series and it features Beau, Danika and Asher, as Beau’s teammate. She was kidnapped from her college campus, beaten and flown to an unknown location. Danika is not one to sit idly by. She escapes, which is how Beau finds her. Their connection is instant. Though she has no former military training, she’s remarkably good with a gun, quick on her very damaged feet and always puts other people before herself. Could she be anymore perfect for him? This story line is a little bit funny, a whole lot of tragically serious and all the while we get to watch a budding romance happen between Beau and Danika. Such a fantastic action packed series with amazing characters! I’m really looking forward to Asher’s story.

Beau is sent on his first mission to find and rescue Danika who has been abducted. Asher is sent along to assist. Together they find a sex trafficking ring. The suspense and mystery begin in trying to figure out where, what, how and who is guilty. It's a fast paced action addition to the Mavericks series.

A kidnapping. Possible human trafficking. A call to Beau, Navy SEAL and a member of The Mavericks, a newly formed group of SEALS with more independence and resources. A team of two to find and rescue. Why do I love Dale Mayer and her SEAL books (SEALS of Honor, Heroes for Hire, The Mavericks, and more)?
