I've always loved Mari Carr's writing but these with Jayne Rylan are spectacular! This collection is basically a sampler of each of the Compass Ranch series. Every single one was emotionally enthralling, soul-searingly tender, and incredibly well-written. The characters are fully developed personalities, the sex scenes are not just physical, never gratuitous, but always develop the relationship between the couple and leave me with the belief that love is possible for regular Joe and Jane Shmoes like me. I cannot recommend anything these two writers produce any more highly. I am sure you will adore their characters and the tales they spin.

These four books will satisfy all of your cowboy fantasies! Northern Exposure is an MMF with the eldest brother of four returning home after decade away. The attractions he had when he left has not dimmed, and getting to their HEA is a steamy, sometimes angsty, ride Southern Comfort brings some memorable scenes and some true belly laughs. The steam between these two is scorching hot and they were a true delight as they traversed their way to their HEA Winter's Thaw gives us the start of the next generation, and it is hot enough to melt away any lingering chills. Type A meets laid back, and that wonderful "physical only" relationship trope develops into so much more Heaven on Earth alternates between flash attraction and slow burn, keeping the physical, mental, and emotional switching between the two.
