About this ebook

In the latest action-packed thriller from the award-winning novelist who writes with ‘the pace of Lee Child, and the heart of Harlan Coben,’ ex-military bodyguard Ryan Lock plunges into the nightmare world of sex trafficking.

When fourteen-year-old Kristin Miller goes missing from her quiet home in the San Fernando Valley, her desperate family turn to ex-military bodyguard, Ryan Lock. Along with his partner, Marine Corps veteran Ty Johnson, Lock sets out on a journey that takes him deep into a dark, disturbing and violent world, where young women are selected, groomed and then exploited by ruthless predators.

With law enforcement’s hands tied, Lock dispenses his own brand of street justice as he tracks down Kristin, taking revenge on anyone who stands in his way. Can he get to her before it’s too late?

this was very well written, bar some misspelled words and other editing issues. otherwise a great story. it would have been cool if they touched on a little more about kristen being reunited with her family..... maybe that's a girl thing. haha. five stars. good read. adding to my authors to look for in the future list.

I absolutely loved this book. Ryan and Ty are back and together as they hunt for a missing girl, taking on an evil group of pimps and groomers at the same time. I read the whole book in one sitting as I just had to know what happened next. It was scarily close to the truth on how a vulnerable girl, still a child, can be groomed and sucked into an awful life.

Emotionally poignant and endlessly absorbing story of a naive mind in the act of betrayal—the suffering, grief, and pain. Finally escape due to the heroic, steadfastly selfless, and brilliant bravery!
