Savage Betrayal is a follow on and it definitely helps to have read previous episodes of this series. Once again Nicky and Duncan join forces to fight the evil that has swamped most of Nicky's life and the great thing is that Nicky is doing so legally and legitimately, as a Detective fighting for the rights of the children who have been abducted. Savage Betrayal is no easier to read than previous books in this series as it deals with the scum of the criminal world. However her husband Duncan is right behind her every step of the way, protecting her and keeping her safe. Nicky begins to find that her enemies are closer than she thinks, but the group of friends that she is garnering who have her back, is increasing. This is a suspenseful read and kept me awake most of the night, but I really do want to know how it all goes down! I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

Fantastic series!!!! I want to know how it ends but I don't want it to end.
