So much emotion in such a short book. I felt like each page kept me captivated and entranced. while I believe a lot of these books so far have included way too much about food and cooking, it hardly matters in comparison to all of the events that play out. fantastic character developement!

Where the first novel acted as an introduction to the Otherworld and an establishment of characters & capabilities, this novel truly gives life to the story and peels back the veil just enough to glimpse where the story will go. I cannot wait to see where this goes - if the author can maintain even half the quality of this volume in the rest of the series, then it'll be one of the best of all time.

I will just say.....O.M.G! An absolutely amazingly well thought out piece of work and a complete step away from the norm in an astonishingly deep story. I can not wait to read the next one.
