Not putting my evidence in danger is at the tiptop of my list. I love Dariyah, and I wouldn’t draw attention her way if it weren’t necessary. She’d pooh-pooh my pussyfooting around. Even if I wanted to muffle her connection to Pegasus, she’d overrule me and throw it in his horsey face.

We must wrest Faery from the enemy. I finally hold the land link, but success is far from a foregone conclusion. More blood will flow before we’re done. Buckets of the stuff, but I can’t let that stop me.

This is an awesome 3rd book in this series and I have to say I really liked the author's "fairies"; I'm happy that she took a different route than most. I thought all the action in the story was exciting, and I liked learning about all the different types of residents of Faery, both good and evil, and what magical powers they have. The love story between the two main characters is written so beautifully, a deep, respectful, physically hot, and soothing love. An understanding that they have an immortal time to love each other, so for the most part they can put their wants and desires for each other on the back burner (well most of the time), while they work on saving Faery and its people. The war to save their people and Faery(land) is hampered by evil kings and an evil flying horse, and thousand of enemies, then throw in a surprise here and there and it just gets worse. Will they be able to save themselves and their home? Get the book, get the series, you won't ever see fairies the same and you'll love it.
