Better and stronger beginning than book 1. Marie and Matteo have married and returned to the big city, so small town girl Marie, needs to learn how to maneuver here. And how to survive Matteo's aunt. Better paced and more interesting. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Marie and Matteo's story continues to unfold with a lush blend of juicy drama, tantalizing twists, raw emotions, sinful secrets, thick tension, and sultry steam that had me eagerly turning those pages. I am really looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up in book three. This is my volitional, forthright review.

I read the first book of the series and felt it was a bit off. Honestly I wasn't sure if I should read this one, but this was much better. I think the series would be much better if it was just two books than three as the first book could've been broken down to just be a few chapters to start the story and how Marie and Matteo got there.
