About this ebook

Having it all is a fantasy, right?

Chloe Browne knows all about fantasy. Fantasy is her job.

And she’s very, very good at what she does.

As director of design for the O Spa chain, a sophisticated women’s club that is trending its way into being the Next Big Thing, Chloe’s ready to take on the world.

One baby at a time.

Her home study’s done, and she’s about to adopt, a thirty-something single mother by choice. Who needs to put her life on hold for the right guy when the right baby is waiting for her?

Besides, talk about fantasy.

The right guy?

Pfft. Right.

And then in walks Nick Grafton, with those commanding sapphire eyes and wavy blonde hair and a sophisticated mouth that only smiles for her.

He’s perfect.

But the last thing Nick wants is to start fresh with a new baby as his college-age kids fly the coop. A single father for more than fifteen years after his wife walked out on her family, Nick finally tastes freedom.

But he likes the taste of Chloe more.

I was really excited to read this spinoff from Julia Kent's Shopping series. Andrew and Amanda make an appearance as the "O" Spa is part of Anterdec, the McCormick hospitality conglomerate of businesses. In this story, we meet Chloe Brown, who manages the design elements for the chain of spas, and Nick Grafton, who handles branding for Anterdec. They meet when Chloe is giving Nick, Andrew and Amanda a presentation on a new concept idea for the spa. Both remain professional, i.e. no flirting, during the meeting, fighting to hide their instant attraction to one another. We later find out that they are at different crossroads in their lives, with Chloe, planning to adopt a baby, and Nick, tasting freedom, as his son is about to start college with his older sisters. The story is told from a dual point of view so we constantly feel the inner turmoil our Hero and heroine face as they get closer to their personal goals, which may prove to be a conflict for the future of their relationship.. Typical of Julia's stories, we meet a hilarious cast of supporting characters, Nick's kids and the O Spa employees. I wasn't prepared for the open-ended (cliffhanger is too strong of a description) ending, since according to my Kindle, I still had 20% of the book left to read. That's when I realized/remembered, Shopping for a Billionaire's Honeymoon was included in this book! Since I love Shannon and Declan McCormick, and I wanted to find out what happened on the honeymoon (since neither of them are going to repeat the story to anyone else), I forgive Julia :-) Can't wait to see how the story unfolds! I was gifted an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! Talk about a two for one! Two couples. Two hilarious and romantic adventures... and these couples do get adventurous, some more than others. In Our Options Have Changed, we're introduced to a whole new bevy of characters in the O spa who are just as awkward and sincere and hilarious and over the top as the characters we've come to love from Julia Kent. They really just draw you into the story right from the beginning and you start to feel like you've known them your whole life. You buy right into the crazy and you love every minute of it. I can't wait to see where this new cast of characters takes us. Wherever it is, I know it will be one heck of a ride! Now as an added bonus, we also got Shopping For A Billionaire's Honeymoon in this book. Oh my gosh! Things do not get any easier for Declan and Shannon on their honeymoon. Shannon is just a big ol' horndog, and rightly so. Look who she's married to! Who wouldn't be? Declan, however is in work mode trying to get a few deals wrapped up for their burgeoning coffee empire. These two things do not mix... but they do make for plenty of hilarity. Don't worry. There's still plenty of romance and sexiness. This is Declan and Shannon we're talking about here. They will find a way! I'm still laughing about the way their honeymoon ends! Bottom line, you will love both of these stories like crazy! I would highly recommend this book and I am looking forward to what comes next in these series.

This was a phenomenal book from Julia Kent and Elisa Reed! I was taken in by Chloe Browne from the start and her career at the very interesting, elite and exclusive Spa! Then she starts the outreach programs and life begins to change a bit but still kind of the same. She then meets Nick Grafton and life takes a turn and options start to look different. Does she find the perfect partner in Nick and he in Chloe? He has an empty nest but she is just starting out. The book keeps me turning pages and losing time because I'm so engrossed into their stories and it becomes complicated, and tangled but untangled and so much love and caring. When the happy little bundle of joy arrives, The friend and then momma comes to help, oh boy is all I can tell you. We all have those all too helpful people in our lives' that are more work than they are help. Julia and Elisa have written a wonderful story of so much real life because the circumstances and interactions can and do happen. The conversations and the interactions of Nick and his brother Charlie amazing! I can literally see their conversations and I'm laughing out loud. The same goes with the other characters in the book, The employees/masseurs at the Spa, Nicks children; they all come to life in this book. I can see this happening to myself with my own children at their age. I love how these two Authors co-write like they are one. I am gratefully honored to read and review their book, Our Options Have Changed. I am excited for the next book in their series to be release. I'm ready to see where these stories go next.
