This book is part of an over arching series paired with the fictional Chasing Shadows by AJ Harley, this book called non fiction completely fails. The author jumps all over the place, claims the work to be thoroughly researched but reads like a never ending OP ED. I really enjoyed Chasing Shadows could not put it down, and was looking forward to this companion piece, but it was a terrible struggle to get through, so much so that I'm not going to even bother with the second book Man. I am an open minded skeptic in regards to the Phenomenon,but this book tries way too hard to discount everything humans have believed all to be replaced by aliens that may or may not even exist.

Well sourced material and a fresh take on a subject that is littered with opinion peices and twisted interpretations. While it is still an opinion peice it offers a refreshingly level headed approach that uses common sense to arrive at a general understanding, not of the phenonenon, but of our observation and interpritation of it. Peter Levenda is, imho, one of the best writters.

I normally devour a book within a few weeks. I took my time with this one. Sometimes after rereading several passages I would go back a third time and share it with my wife. I've enjoyed every Sekret Machine book so far and am looking forward to the next!!
