About this ebook

Her fated mate can’t claim her. But she’ll show him what they could have.

Mitchell already watched one mate die. He won’t do it again, so he refuses the bond.

Only fate has other plans, and he can’t help but fall for Dawn and watch her thrive in this new world.

Dawn grew up in shadow but that only made her stronger. She will fight for her mate because she knows though he’s the dominant wolf, she’s strong enough for them both.

There is a new enemy coming for them, one that wants the power the Talon Pack has amassed. They will stop at nothing to destroy them.

But Mitchell and Dawn will fight for their people.

And hopefully…each other.

*Disclaimer: I received an eARC of this book from InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not influence my rating or the content of my review in any way. It seems that I've been on a roll lately discovering paranormal series that I need to read ASAP and that's making me super happy. I've only read Carrie Ann Ryan's contemporary books, and I am happy that I decided to try out more of her work. As I said before, I love to see how each author describes the myth of the shifters, and while I don't know the full explanation included in the Redwood Pack/Talon Pack series, I liked what little I got to read about in Destiny Disgraced. The idea that there's an outside force, called the moon goddess, that blesses shifters with the mating and pack bonds was really interesting and new. I liked the fact that just because they received the blessing of the moon goddess didn't mean that they couldn't lose it, although some stuff revealed during the book makes me wonder about the motivation of this moon goddess. I am hoping she'll reveal herself during the next few books. I also liked the whole mating concept. It wasn't the usual approach I've read time and again, which was really nice, and I loved the idea that Ryan introduced in her book. I'm very curious about how triads work, so I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that I'll read about that once I get to read the earlier books. Mitchell was an interesting hero. His full story and his reasons for staying away from Dawn are revealed little by little during the story, but once you learn the full story, you can completely understand his struggle with this mating bond. It was tragic to read about, and you can tell that he has the potential of being a much stronger male, but because of his past, because of what he went through, he's truly scarred and hurt. And I found it truly amazing and it made my nerdy side really happy to see that some details from the cover of the book not only are they found in the story itself, but you also learn the why of it. Can't say more than that because of spoilers, but I had to say just that. Dawn was also a very great heroine. I found that she was a truly strong female, one that had the potential to be something more but because of her Pack's story, she was lacking the opportunities for them. I ached for her because of that, because her true potential wasn't being fully explored due to something her ancestors did. I liked her spirit. I liked that she could be a badass and defend herself and her friends when they needed protection, and at the same time allow herself moments of vulnerability. She and Mitchell are a perfect match, really, and I was truly happy that they found themselves. The interesting thing about this book, and I can only hope this is something that happens with all books, is that every now and then, you get a chapter told in some different character's POV. I found that intriguing, not just because it teases about the next book's main characters, but it also shows you just a tiny piece of the puzzle, just enough to get my interest piqued. The story is truly well paced, and I managed to read it in one sitting. I found that although I knew nothing about this world, I was able to read without feeling lost. I felt the need to know more, but not in the sense that I couldn't understand what was happening or that I was confused by the lack of knowledge. As I said in the beginning, I'm truly happy that I got to read this book and that I've found yet another great paranormal series. I plan on working my way through the Redwood and Talon series, while I'm waiting desperately for the next book in the series.

Carrie Ann Ryan’s DESTINY DISGRACED is an exalted addition to the Talon Pack series. Beta of the Talon Pack, Mitchell Brentwood and Central Pack maternal dominant, Dawn Levin, have different reason for trying to fight their attraction to one another. However, unexpected circumstances keep throwing them together. This contemporary PNR is suitable for adult audiences. Carrie Ann Ryan continues to do an admiral job with her character development. I really like Mitchell. My heart broke for what he went through. He kept a major burden to himself for a long time. It is understandable why he kept Dawn at arm’s length. Dawn is a sweet character you cannot help to adore. She is strong and nurturing. She is young and hard working. She has some great friends. They are good for each other, making each other stronger. I love the dynamics between the individuals and their wolves. The plot was exciting and skillfully executed. There are some interesting things going on with the Aspen Pack. DESTINY DISGRACED was thought-provoking and thrilling throughout. I’m looking forward to Walker’s and Aimee’s story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Destiny Disgraced Talon Pack Book 6 by Carrie Ann Ryan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Destiny Disgraced is book 6 in the Talon Pack series. I enjoy that this is a fantastic addition into the series. It's a interesting book that features a new pack, failures, a double-cross, insecurities of a pack, triumphs, and challenges to the pack. Carrie Ann Ryan is a talented and gifted author, who continues to give us Awesome books to read no matter what genre. Her main characters along with the supporting characters are what makes this book so unique, she creates fabulous world for werewolves, it has a depth that you will thoroughly enjoy, this is Mitchell Brentwood and Dawn Levin story.  I absolutely enjoyed reading this book, I did have one issue which is that the story had to end. Mitchell is the Beta enforcer he's whose job it is to try keep the pack alive. He is aware that the pack think he’s a harsh taskmaster which he takes full advantage of by never smiling. Dawn Is the younger generation of Central wolf Pack who was born to pack after their parent escape from the old Central pack. She is strong maternal wolf but submissive this means her wolf’s true calling is to be a protector of children. Her wolf needs to nurture and care for the young of the Pack. Yet without any pups within their den walls, a part of her will always feel broken. Even though Dawn refers to herself as a submissive wolf, I think she has an inner dominant streak. While Mitchell and Dawn struggle with their feelings and attraction for each other, there is a evil force that they can’t ignore. their pack and their allies must face the new enemy, one with revenge and the unknown on their minds. An they are closer than they realize. I love and enjoy the way these characters interact and the support that they give one another. I like how loyal Dawn friends are and the fact they understand that she kept secrets from them that's true friendship. I hope that they each get their own story, as they are off on their own adventures. This book and all of the Talon Pack series are so incredibly great at entertaining the readers. This book is action fill with tension that makes it a great page turner. I am a great fan of Carrie Ann Ryan ability. ABSOLUTELY fantastic story and a highly entertaining read! The story pulls you in from the first chapter in till the end. The character development was on point. The heroine was flawed but yet full of strength. The romance is everything you enjoy reading. The suspense is never overdone. Each book in the series can stands on its own, however for optimal reading pleasure, you’ll want to read them all. If you are look for a fabulous read go ahead and start with this book. You will enjoy Carrie’s writing and her wonderful sense of humor. THIS IS A FABULOUS MUST READ! I certainly recommend this book to readers that is looking for a Phenomenal read. I voluntarily reviewed this book, because I love and can't resist reading Carrie Ann Ryan books!
