This volume, covering the years 1980 to 1984, cumulates five yearly issues of the Bibliography of Latin Amercan Bibliographies, published by the Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM). It lists bibliographies on Latin American topics published during the period as monographs and articles in journals and periodicals. It is organized by subject areas such as agriculture, art and architecture, economics, education, history, language and literature, law, political science, etc. The geographical area covered is Latin America and the Caribbean.

About the author

Lionel V. Lorona is Acting Deputy Director of the Research Libraries of the New York Public Library. During his career at NYPL he has served for a number of years as a selection officer for Latin American materials. For the past four years he has compiled and edited the Bibliography of Latin American Bibliographies, published annually by SALALM.
