This is the second of the Space Lords series and is set in the Qurilixen world. This one follows after Evan and Josselyn’s story. Concerning strong and commanding Dev who has found a home with the misfit crew and feisty Violet who is out to destroy said crew. This short story is full of twists and turns and will keep you reading to find out if Dev and Violet do finally find a HEA. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is Dev's story and he like the rest of he's remaining crew were cursed by and Ancient ghost ,that they will find love with in the five element but if they don't recognize it when it presents itself they will be forever alone. There was a problem with this Dev believes he will never find love because of who and what he was is, he is never meant to be loved. Violette had made her father a promise that when the time's a woman named Josselyn will come him and Violette is do nothing to stop her actions. Violette's father dies at the hands of Josselyn due to so many wrongs dealt to her and he people because of Violette's father Jack many many years ago. They also find out they are have sister's via the same mother. But Violette's plan is to find and kill Josselyn just as she killed he father, she had to she swore a blood oath. Dev and Violette paths cross and an instant attraction is felt. Their journey will be fill with passion and a few bumps along the way. Both hide their true feeling and one fears that if they don't do what is right they might lose family, friends and maybe their horner. Will Dev an Voilette survive their true feeling or will they pick the in doing what they know is right and maybe losing their chance at true love.
