Once upon a time, I had read everything that Katie MacAlister had written. It's been quite a few years since then and I'm not sure why I fell off the path of stalking her writing. I'm so thankful I was reintroduced to her writing because I've completely fallen all over again. If you're looking for a good laugh, you need look no further than the chapter titles and you'll know you're in for a good time with this book. Quick, witty, heartfelt, action-packed, this book has it all! I absolutely loved it. If you like your action mixed with humor, read this right now! You won't regret it. Thank you to NetGalley, Katie MacAlister, and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the chance to read this book and share my thoughts and opinions with others.

Veronica James, had no idea that her dying, half-sister Helen, was anything, but human, until she turned her into a dragon hunter. Not only did the flesh-tearing bite send Veronica’s OCD into overdrive, it hurt, a lot. Her half-sister did apologize, but still. Although Helen was weak and dying, she was able to pass, onto Veronica, her first mission as a dragon hunter. She was to save a battered woman with two children, from harm. The assignment sounded simple enough, especially, with Veronica’s newly acquired dragon abilities and sword. The problem was, however, that Helen died before telling her who the woman was. In addition, to that important information tidbit, Veronica didn’t have a clue about being a dragon hunter. She also, unfortunately, left her sword in the alleyway where Helen died. When Veronica went to retrieve the forgotten sword, she found another dragon hunter, Ian Iskandar, stealing it. Veronica didn’t know at the time, that the dragon hunter she was fighting, would become the love of her life and mentor. Ian Iskander had a mission to accomplish. Unfortunately, it involved Veronica James, the battered woman Veronica was trying to save, and Anzo, the demon lord he was bound to. Ian tried not to fall in love with Veronica, because not only would his crazy complicated life become impossible, it would be dangerous for Veronica. I thoroughly enjoyed this humorous and engaging book. The characters are colorful and quirky, the dialogue witty, and the crazy situations, very funny. I especially enjoyed the hysterical banter between Veronica, and the dragon hunter, who stole her heart, Ian. If you enjoy, humorous paranormal romance novels, you’ll love, Memoirs of a Dragon Hunter. Thank you, Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy.
