This book is full of poetry on almost every subject you could imagine. If it can happen, chances are I survived it. I have learned to channel my emotions into poetry so that I could survive all the good and bad in my life. It is my hope to share these poems with you in hope that you can finally find solace in knowing that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! When you feel alone, just remember, I have been there. About the author

My name is Amanda M. Gallegos. I am 21 years old and currently reside in El Paso TX with my wife Jessica and my three children Jade, Matt, and Alex. My wife and I are also hoping to add to our family soon. I have always loved writing and have found pleasure as well as relief from everyday life in writing poetry. I have been writing poetry since I was very young, and still do upon occasion. I have decided that now is as good a time as any to create my own legacy by publishing the works that I have literally devoted years to writing. I am currently attending school to earn my PhD. In psychology and hope to use my experiences to help others find peace in their lives. I have a passion and a drive for poetry that I feel will help my book serve as a path to finding inner peace. In being able to relate to my poetry, I have hope that others will know they are not alone, and be determined to rise above any feats they are currently experiencing.
