It's takes you back in time, even before Independence. The tale of poor peoples struggling for food and livelihood, the tale of creation of human settlement by cutting forest. And a vivid description of the nature, forest, trees, flower.

Unable to read the 12th part. After 11th (page 115) unable to move to page 116 as it keeps showing you have finished reading. Then by manually clicking the seek bar I finally able to land on 14th part (page 128). The page between 116 and 127 is inaccessible.

A mesmerizing travelogue through the lap of nature in Chhotonagpur and rediscovering her in a different way that I have ever read. The author has the uniqueness of live painting through his writing. A must read for all.
