The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much.  At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. Ratings and reviews

The characters are unique and relatable, and the book builds a pretty cool mystery. Self aware and doesn't take itself too seriously & just the right amount by of pulp fiction. No real science to speak of here at all, but fun in a kind of goosebumps for adults kind of way. Fast and fresh, ends nice and tidy.

Damn clever book. Cline took a lot of real life aspects and spun them into a very unique experience. You can definitely tell he did his research to get all the details right, and his ability to immerse you into the mystery is something to be rivalled.

I devoured this book. I've read almost all of Peter Clines' books and I have never been disappointed. They're funny, interesting, and the characters always draw me in.
