I really liked the story that was told. The thing that hung me up on giving it 5 stars was that certain aspects of the story received way to much detail that I felt didn't need to be there, while other parts needed more detail and just got skipped over. All and all it was a great story with great twists that left me wanting more!

I am a zombie fan and have read many,many zombie books,watched all the zombie movies . The Last Zombie Ocean 1 is one of the best I have read .I loved the whole twist of they only wanted to be hugged and have contact with the living.I can't wait to read your next book!

This book is a easy-read, but it offers a complexity just beneath the surface. It drudges up many questions of what we thought we knew about the fictional zombies we have come to know. Thank you Mr. Grist!
