I loved this book so much that I read each following book in the series eagerly and without hesitation. I was hooked from the beginning and now that I've finished them all, I'm in withdrawal, waiting and hoping for the next one to be written! Just awesome!!

Really liked this book. Interesting storyline that doesn't follow the usual magic trope. An enjoyable read with fun characters.

Do you know the feeling when you read a chapter and by the end of it you are so hyped up you have to read another? And then another and another? Because that's what the book gives you. It is almost 1AM as I just finished reading (after planning to only read w chapter and get to bed early) it and can't wait to see what's going to happen next. The book has very likeable main characters, interactions are believable and not a bit cheesy. Whole story has interesting flow to it and I had blast reading it. Highly recommended.

About the author

Joanna might be a bit too cautious to do anything even remotely daring or dangerous herself, so she writes about daring adventures and dangerous magic instead. Yet, she found enough courage to abandon her life in Poland and move to Ireland, and then some years later, she abandoned her life in Ireland to move over to the US. She’s determined to settle there, once she finally chooses which state to reside in.

When she’s not writing or thinking about writing, she plays video games or makes amateur art. She lives the happy life of a recluse, surrounded by her husband, a stuffed red monkey, and a small collection of books she insisted on hauling across two continents.
