He is the co-editor of Beyond Medication: Therapeutic Engagement and the Recovery from Psychosis and the director of Take These Broken Wings, a documentary on recovery from schizophrenia without medication. Matthew Morrissey, MFT is a therapist in San Francisco and a board member of both MindFreedom International and the Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology.
