I really love the idea of a sad boy dating a girl who is kind and understanding (and also half-beast). I feel turned on every time I read the parts where Bree becomes a wolf; it makes me wish I could be a werewolf (without the urge to kill people that is) or have a werewolf girlfriend. This story has a good balance of action, comedy, romance, thrills, chills, and supernatural creatures. I already had reasons why I never want to drink beer, and the way Aiden's dad treats his own son when he's drinking has become another very strong reason. Let this be a lesson: Too much beer would cause you to do regrettable and/or inexcusable things, and the next day, you might end forgetting you did it, but still have to deal with the consequences.

Doug Solter began writing screenplays in 1998, then made the switch to writing young adult fiction in 2008. His first novel SKID was a screenplay before it was adapted into a book. Doug has worked in television for over twenty years. He has directed rap music videos and short films.
