I LOVED this one! It hooked me right from the beginning and had a hold of me until the end. I didn't want to finish because I didn't want the story to end. It has left me wanting the next book in the series. I really liked Dorothea. I could relate to her a lot. She could have been kicked down by all the she's been through, but she has a inner strength that's inspiring. Daniel is been the one who Dorothea always wanted, but never had. Now back in town Daniel's will finally open when it comes to Dorothea, but he doesn't do relationships. This book had me laughing, crying, and down right mad. It's a well written story with well developed engaging characters. The last scene is quite memorable and just so perfect to end this book on. I can't say enough how much I recommend giving this one a read.

Daniel is the boy that is beautiful both inside and out, yet has never felt good enough. Gena Showalter is good at stirring up emotion. It's inspirational tales of courage like this one that keep her name on people's lips and her stories in their hearts. Ugliness is a state of mind, not a physical trait.

I really loved this one too! I actually chuckled a few times. This is one of my fav series by Gena.
