In the third instalment of her adventures, Helen is hitting her stride. Surrounded by family, friends and beautiful objects (thanks, in no small part, to the boss getting her inheritance back) she's feeling especially magnanimous. Alison Penton Harper lives in rural Northamptonshire with her husband and two daughters. Her first novel, Housewife Down, was a finalist in Richard & Judy's 2004 How to Get Published competition and her second, Housewife Up, was published by Pan Books in 2006.
