Loved this story! Matt is the Sheriff of Maple Hills, and Shay has returned to open up a bakery. They had been school sweethearts who took different directions (some under duress). When they met up again, fireworks exploded as they struggled to forgive themselves and each other.

A good second chance romance set in a small town. Like the easy to read story, cute romance and chemistry between Matt & Shaye. Also like Matt's family, especially his grandfather and grandmother who are still very much in love. Looking forward to read the other books in the series

Theresa Paolo lives on Long Island, NY with her fiancé and their fish. She is the author of NA and Adult contemporary romances. Her debut novel (NEVER) AGAIN, released in Fall 2013 with Berkley (Penguin) and the companion novel (ONCE) AGAIN released Summer 2014.
