Audio Review This is a rework of an older series where the author has tweaked the story and added to it. I had not read the previous version so not sure how it differs but I will say this one has blown me away. It has a darker feel to it where the two main characters are both from damaged backgrounds. They both have screwed up mothers and because of that they have sought out other means to deal with their pain. The sad truth about this story is there are really kids out there that deal with this situation and have to survive the best way they can and that is what Harley and Trey do. Finding each other helps them get to their HEA but there are many struggles along the way. This is part 1 of a 3 part series so the first two books leave you in a cliffhanger so be aware but it is a great damaged love story and for me so worth the listen. Joe Arden, Vanessa Edwin, Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton and all perfect to tell this story. Joe and Vanessa are the two main characters and the strength and emotion they deliver pulled me right in to the hearts and souls of Harley and Trey. Fantastic job. I am loving this story and on to book 2 for me. I highly recommend this series.

I love what miss Lauren write but I didn't like this one
