Ratings and reviews

I 'm guessing most people who love romance novels will also love this one. I guess maybe I was just looking for and expecting something different, and the back-story put a different shine on things than what I normally enjoy. I think I might keep on with the series, though. The writing was good, so here 's hoping that the next books are more my cup of tea.

It is troubling that an author noted as being a USA today best-seller consistently forgets basic grammar such as the difference between their, there, and they're. In addition, there were several times in which paragraphs were clearly lacking editing as characters were in two places at once, names were mixed up. Not to mention the countless times "he" was used referring to a female character and "she" used for male characters. Would have been a cute, light, story without so many editing errors.

The story needed fleshed out more...the romance felt empty and the main female character made some awful choices that were forgiven way too quickly. Overall, I don't know that I'll read another from this author if the story just doesn't seem quite there.
