I'm so sad that this Alaskan Grooms series is at an end! I've so enjoyed the town of Love, Alaska and getting to know the people that live there! I wish it were a real place! The author has done a fantastic job of creating a lovable town and wonderful, believable characters that readers can fall in love with. The final book is about Honor Prescott and I've been waiting a long time for her book! I have read all about her brothers and friends but I've wanted to read about her back story and then see her get her happily-ever-after too! She's been in and out of other books but I wanted her to have a book of her own! This one didn't disappoint! We knew she had gone to Michigan to college but in this book we found out why she went there, so far from home. No spoilers! She did have an ex-fiancée as a young 18 year old, Joshua Ransom, and he's back in Love to say goodbye to his grandpa, who has recently died. Joshua also hasn't been in Love for 6 years and now he has an infant daughter, Violet. I fell in love with that little girl! How precious she is! To see Joshua with a baby is killing Honor. She thought she'd have a family with him by now. However, they are at odds over Joshua's grandpa's land because Joshua & his brother want to sell it to land developers and that just doesn't sit right with Honor!!! She is going to do everything she can to stop that from happening! I loved watching these two argue & disagree, but ultimately, work through what happened to them 6 years ago. I hope you will enjoy this last book in the Alaska Grooms series! It's a keeper!!!!
