About this ebook

WALL STREET JOURNAL BESTSELLER  • “An interstellar suspense thriller . . . sweeping in scope and emotional range.”—San Antonio Express-News

In the star-spanning civilization known as the Intersolar Commonwealth, twenty-three planets have fallen victim to the Prime, a technologically advanced alien species genetically hardwired to exterminate all other forms of life. But the Prime is not the only threat. The Starflyer, an alien with mind-control abilities impossible to detect or resist, has secretly infiltrated the Commonwealth and is sabotaging the war effort. Is the Starflyer an ally of the Prime, or has it orchestrated a fight to the death between the two species for its own advantage? Caught between two deadly enemies, the fractious Commonwealth must unite as never before. This will be humanity’s finest hour—or its last gasp.

Praise for Judas Unchained, the sequel to Pandora’s Star

“Bristles with the energy of golden age SF, but the style and characterizations are polished and modern.”—SF Site

I loved the story and the many characters. But when I have to keep up with so many characters and numerous plot twists something has to give. The lengthy descriptions of worlds, flora and fauna, landscapes etc needed major editing. Don't get me wrong I like to understand my surroundings but repetition of such causes my focus to shift from story and character to unnecessary drivel. Truly, thanks for not dividing the/ story into 4 or more books just to get every last dime out of your fans. And I am a fan.

Did Hamilton's time machine crash on. Earth? He writes like he has come from the future itself, lots of juicy technologies, epic character arcs and a knack for painting a full picture of politics and motives beneath the veil of laser gun action sequences. Judas turned out to be an even more exciting read than its prequel.

Terrific sense of scale, like some of heinlein's work, also david webber's, but different. Implacable alien creatures, mystery, exploration, examples of humanity, good and bad, all woven in a straight up Si Fi tale that makes it hard to put down. Looking forward to more from this great new ( to me ) author.
