Gosh, I love the series. This book was - is - wonderful. Charlie is such an amazing character, and I love her relationship with others. Especially Michael. The ending really made me squeal with relief, disappointment, and excitement. Relief and excitement because there will be another sequel judging by how it ended. Disappointment because the man at the ending wasn't Michael.

I love this series. My only complaint is the length of time between the books. If you are gonna hang us with the cliffhangers of all cliffhangers then give us a preview of the next book. I didn't close the cover with anticipation but with annoyance. The cliffhanger is why it's not 5 stars. The story itself is great. The storyline arc through the series works.
