Ratings and reviews

Just wrapped up the series. Good read once you get grounded on all the names, locations and cultures. Just be aware that at the end of book four, things just end. Apparently there was supposed to be another book, but there hasn't been one forthcoming. So, if you like to read for weeks without having a satisfying conclusion (or any other kind really) this is the series for you 😉

About the author

GLEN COOK is the author of dozens of novels of fantasy and science fiction, including The Black Company series, The Garrett Files, and The Instrumentalities of the Nigh. Cook was born in 1944 in New York City. He attended the Clarion Writers Workshop in 1970, where he met his wife, Carol. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
