The Sisters Weiss is about the choices two sisters make on the brink of the adulthood and how they affect both their own lives and the rest of the family, parents and generations to come. It is more than just a glimpse into Orthodox Jewish life in America; it echoes in the lifestyles & stereotypes of other countries, religions. The characters seemed so real to me I was almost certain I would learn that they were based on the author or someone she knew closely. Great insight.
