About the author

Nat Gabriel is a pseudonym for an established author who has published over twenty-five picture books, novels, and easy readers. She has written for such prestigious publishing houses as Random House, Scholastic, Harper Collins, Harcourt Brace, and Simon & Schuster, and has written more than fifty fiction and non-fiction “little books” for educational publishers such as Scott Foresman and Pearson Education. Several of her books received starred reviews in Publishers Weekly. John Abbott Nez has illustrated books of all sorts. John sometimes works in traditional mediums with real paints. He also makes digital art on his computer. John lives in Seattle.
