About this ebook

A heartwarming tale of terror in the middle of the zombie apocalypse.

Meet Sarah and David.

Once upon a time they met and fell in love. But now they're on the verge of divorce and going to couples' counseling. On a routine trip to their counselor, they notice a few odd things -- the lack of cars on the highway, the missing security guard, and the fact that their counselor, Dr. Kelly, is ripping out her previous client's throat.

Meet the Zombies.

Now, Sarah and David are fighting for survival in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. But, just because there are zombies, doesn't mean your other problems go away. If the zombies don't eat their brains, they might just kill each other.

I don't even know where to begin on this. I picked this book up in 2010 at a Barnes and Nobles in Pennsylvania. I'm normally a Fantasy nerd, but I saw it on one of their end cap displays and decided to read the back because the title and cover art looked interesting. After reading the flavor text on the back it lured me in like the smell of funnel cake at a local fair. The thought of reading about a couple's dysfunctional relationship in a impending zombie apocalypse was awesome. It had the normal everyday life ushering to a realistically and perfectly played out scenarios such as morning routines and couples therapy. Then it had the outbreak part that every good zombie book, comic or movie had. The way it was written was not only good enough to usher a perfect picture in the movie theater of your mind, but this book series should have made it to the big screen. I love the take on travel and the different locales bringing different survival and controversial scenarios. If it was possible I'd leave even more stars. Thank you for writing this.

I hate to put down an authors work. Because i so appreciate your craft. But you are way too talented to ever write about zombies or vampires again. Do not ever do this again. This is the last thing the planet needs is another zombie story. Be original! Write something unique. Have you read Tad Williams new story" the Dirty streets of Heaven" book#1... OMG, it is the most uniquely original story ever put on paper. He has rewrote the rules when it comes to fantasy. You my friend have this ability.

About the author

A Facebook application once told Jesse Petersen that she'd only survive a day in a zombie outbreak, but she doesn't believe that. For one, she's a good shot and two, she has an aversion to bodily fluids, so she'd never go digging around in zombie goo. Until the zombie apocalypse, she lives in the Midwest with her husband and two cats. Find out more about the author at www.jessepetersen.net.
