Ratings and reviews

Unusual YA drama involving two main characters, Vale and Slate. ( three main characters but the third, Crawford, was never developed.) Vale and Slate were likeable and relatable for me. Slate and Vale's families were also enjoyable characters; Crawford's mother wasn't. The story was good, not great. Then came the second half! Totally unexpected and not necessary. A three star read became 2 1/2 stars. Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.

Great first half. Characters are great. But really Weird second half. Wheres the part where crawford wakes up? The second half completely rewrites the storyline. Not impressed. Wish i didnt buy this book.
