Ward’s writing style and I just clicked. There’s really no other way to describe it. From the first page of the novel I felt like I was part of it. This well written novel with in-depth development of the storyline and background details was fantastic. The multiple angles to this story give a very broad feel to it, yet you can see how the separate stories & viewpoints do or will intersect. By flipping from scene to scene and perspective to perspective quickly Ward keeps the intensity ramps up. It was a fantastic introduction into the world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood without giving away all its secrets. I feel like I’m just getting my toes wet with these guys and their vividly larger than life world and I can’t wait to read more. Ward creates some complex and interesting characters that I really wanted to get to know. The Brotherhood’s names had me from the get-go. They’re perfectly unique and fitting for each individual character. The diverse cast kept me on my toes while giving me a great deal to think about. The dialogue is priceless. It lets you get to know the characters just as well as any description could. Also, the college frat house vibe combined wit

In all honesty, i have been drawn to this series for a long period of time but I wasn't quite there yet in reading this series. Now that I'm done reading Wrath and Beth's story and got to know the other brothers I am so excited to read their stories as well. 😍 J. R Ward has created a new world for me as a lover of paranormal/romance genre. Each character is just sooo mysterious that you just wanna get to know them more.

I have devoured this series twice, and I never reread romance novels. The thing is, its not just sex. The story itself draws you in. I was just as enthralled with the storyline as I was with the "good parts." The sex itself is really well written, too. It is so rare to get both in a romance series. Thankfully J.R. Ward delivers, and does it well.
