As an avid climber, this book immediately sparked my interest upon seeing it. There were some very interesting essays that made me look on some topic with new light. The philosophy part is very stressed, with almost every essay citing a prominent philosopher such as Nietzsche, Kant, Hegel, and more. As a rather lay person on this department I found some of this a quite heavy and even a little overwhelming in some essays. However, not all the essays are like this and all in all it was very fascinating and quick read.
