He is the head of publishing at the award-winning publisher Unbound, founder of the Free University of Glastonbury and literature producer for the Brighton Festival. He regularly writes for the nature and culture blog Caught by the River and has contributed essays to both their anthologies. Mathew has also worked for the Guardian, Channel 4, Random House, Port Eliot Festival and Octopus Publishing.
