The last apprentice was my favorite book series and I was excited for its continuation with this book however It did not live up to my expectations at all. It didn't even seem like I was reading a book by this author but instead seemed like a bad fanfiction. Story was short and lacked depth hopefully the next one will be better because I'm not ready to give this series up yet

Loved it, favourite series by an author by far, waited so long for this book and the joy of its release was short lived. It felt short and rushed. I'd gladly pay twice as much if only the next one was at least 50% longer and more in depth.

I've been waiting all year for this book and it was worth the wait. It's such and amazing read and i can't wait for the third book to come.

Joseph DELANEY is the author of the internationally best-selling The Last Apprentice series, which is now a major motion picture, Seventh Son. He is a former English teacher who lives in the heart of boggart territory in Lancashire, England. His village has a boggart called the Hall Knocker, which was laid to rest under the step of a house near the church.
