This review was written by Marie for a guest review post on Ever After Book Reviews blog: When it comes to authors who know how to write a damn good story, Ms. Kennedy is one that takes the cake. So, obviously, when Midnight Target was an option, I snatched it up immediately! Knowing that this series is coming to a close, I was anxious to get my hands on it and dig right in. I began the book and I was immediately hooked. From the beginning, it draws you in, starting off with one hell of a bang! From there, it evolves in to an exciting thrill ride that left me frantically turning pages, desperate to know how the story would eventually pan out. Of course, I was never, at any point, disappointed. I enjoyed reading Cate and Ash’s story. It was a great way to tie their relationship together, and watching it unfold through the creative talents of Ms. Kennedy made it all the better. And while I know their story was the main focus in Midnight Target, they weren’t the ONLY focus. I actually really enjoyed that aspect, and wish more authors would take note of how to successfully tell more than one story at a time. That being said, it made me infinitely happy that I was able to witness Liam and Sully’s story also. It was about time, and quite frankly, I found it far more romantic than Cate and Ash! As is the usual with books from this series, Ms. Kennedy has done an outstanding job. It’s a fast-paced, wonderful story with phenomenal, well-developed characters. It’s bittersweet that the series has to come to an end, but I can honestly say that this was one hell of a ride. ***I voluntarily read a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and feelings are my own***

Give Sully and Liam their own book 😭😭😭 oh my God!! Ash & Cate were cute... but Liam and Sully? a force!!! I cannot believe as a hetero woman I love this gay(bi) love story! They have my heart for eternity! I want to see them living on the boat... I want Sully to open up to Boston about the time he was held in captivity... I want Sully to let it all out and I want to see them walk into marriage. I have read this book like twenty times now. I can't move on from Sully & Liam. fantastic book!
