About the author

Born into an immigrant family from N. Ireland, the author’s formative years were spent in postings across Canada and Europe. Despite a strong literary education, including a minor in English, he chose a science-based career. He returned with his family to Alberta from a series of expatriate postings in 2008, to complete several stories where historical events strongly influence plot and character development. He lives in Alberta and the West Kootenays of British Columbia and is currently writing a novel using Albania as a setting.
