About the author

 Lavie Tidhar is the author of the linked-story collectionHebrewPunk, novellas An Occupation of AngelsCloud Permutations, and Gorel & the Pot-Bellied God. With Nir Yaniv, he co-authored the short novel The Tel Aviv Dossier. Angry Robot has released the first two books of his mass market paperback Bookman series that is set an alt-history steampunk world. Lavie has also edited the anthologies A Dick & Jane Primer for Adults and The Apex Book of World SF. He's lived on three continents and one island-nation, and currently lives in Britain.
