It took me a long time to get into this book and I found some of the paragraphs boring. It will be sometime before I read another book by this author.

Tom Harper (real name Edwin Thomas) won the CWA debut award in 2001 for The Blighted Cliffs. He also wrote The Mosaic of Shadows.
