I enjoyed this, it kept me hooked. I wish it could've been clearer though, like yeah Sanders is using Webb as his fall guy but the twins still could've helped him since they were actual witnesses and how useless is their cyber crime division when they can't follow the trail of a web designer, who's not a proper hacker, to piece together the proper information? Maybe I missed something, but that just doesn't make sense to me.. or maybe it does, law enforcement is pretty useless in most cases, so who knows.

The plot, twist at the end and characters all hooked me and drew me in. Started reading at bedtime and didn't rise in the morning till I was done. Thaddeus Webb felt real. A real person who made bad choices and then made decisions to better them even when the consequences went against himself. Enjoyed this character so much. Looking forward to Tangled Web. Great read!

got into the story for the darknet references, got pulled into a much deeper story. found myself thinking about the book all day and had to finish it in a few days. now wondering if I should finish the series as it was a hell of ride in book1. update: finished the entire series... what a ride, hope a 4th book is coming soon.
