Ratings and reviews

I have read the first and second book in this trilogy because I really wanted to give it a good try. Sorry to say bit these books suck. There's relatively little action and I feel like the PC Police are pushing the agenda a little too hard. This is Star Wars....it should be fun. These are quite the opposite. I would recommend Inferno Squad if you want a really good new cannon SW novel. Don't waste your $$ here!!

Opening crawl. A few years ago in Orlando...crawl ends. Camera pans to Florida. Sycophants gathered in a dark room. Suddenly, The room is illuminated with a sinister blue light hologram. Their feeble bodies tremble and they bow to the image. "Rise" He said. "Though the force does not exist in your galaxy, the glory of its saga does. You will purchase the franchise and destroy it. Then you will rewrite the canon by hiring Chuck Wendig to ressurect Jarjar. Then my plan will be complete!" ...The book sucked.

The entire trilogy doesn't leave me feeling I know anything more about the Star Wars story or the original characters than when I began reading it. Some of the new characters are interesting. The adventures we're sometimes engaging. The side stories are little more than a diversion to make the book longer. I did not care for the author's writing style at all. Overall the trilogy was underwhelming and didn't add much to the overall arc of the SW saga.
