Although a fan of James Becker's novels, I knew about the stuff coming down from the sky, as soon as I read this. Just like Conan Doyle wrote, for Holmes to speak. I'm giving this book 4 *, 'cos I'm not sure about some of it. It is a gruesome, creepy, horrendous idea that we're food for ... Well, I can't reveal all. You have to read this book and judge for yourself if some of these facts are true. As far as leaps and bounds of technology, I've heard this before, that humans have reversed engineered some technologies for us to use. I haven't gotten my head round to being "tasty." Creepy, really creepy.
