The author presents this alternative future world in a fascinatingly complex way, and the key message is something I totally agree with. On the other hand, I often felt like reading a really long and boring presentation about what happened to various countries, species, as if the author tried to put together an accurate guidebook for the future instead of entertaining readers.

A book about a middle-aged bureaucrat's experience of living as an expat in Zürich, with bits and pieces about the climate in between.

A long but bold book.
