I gave this work a rating of 5 because it really is that good and is a fun and fascinating read. Any work by Frederic S. Dellenbaugh, explorer, diarist, writer, artist, and photographer is a treasure. This book is one of his most interesting, and I have read and reread my own copy of this particular work of Dellenbaugh s over and over. If you have an interest in the American Indian tribes this is a highly researched account that reads fabulously. Plus- it includes customs and views that will surprise you!
