I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Dani and Dirks have amazing chemistry together. There is lots of action and lots of realistic interactions between all the characters. It can be read as a stand-alone but you might get a better feel for some of the characters by reading the series. You are going to want to anyways….just to hang out with everyone a little bit longer.
