I’ve read and loved a number of this author’s stories — the Visitor series in particular — but these were all new to me. I loved all of them, but particularly the first and last. Partially, they were longer, with a more satisfying buildup and payoff. And partially because, like the Visitor stories, they centered around one of my favorite kinds of steamy romance, MMF ménage and reverse harem. The thing I love about the way this author writes polyamory is that there’s the feeling that all of the characters are coming together as equals, with love. A lot of poly romance books seem to involve power dynamics I sometimes find a bit uncomfortable — either the men (or one of the men) wields all the power, or the woman does. And while those kinds of fantasy can be fun, it’s really nice to see stories where the characters have to deal TOGETHER with all of the challenges of the non-traditional life they’re exploring. All of which is to say, hot, fun stories, perfect for the season! I’ll be looking for more “friendly ménage tales” from this author, definitely!
